Delete your Munchi account

If you created a Munchi account, you can request that we delete it and the personal data linked to it. This page explains how. Full details are also in our Privacy Policy.

Delete in the app

1. Open the Munchi app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Your account and associated personal data are then removed from active systems, and deleted or anonymised within 90 days (some records may be kept only where the law requires, for example financial records).

Delete by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email hello@munchi.io from the address on your Munchi account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify your identity and confirm once deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

• Your account credentials and profile
• Dietary preferences, allergies and related health information you entered
• Meal plans, saved recipes, grocery lists, and receipt / purchase data you uploaded
• Other personal content tied to your account

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription by itself. Manage or cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions in the respective store account settings.
