This Cookie Policy explains how Munchi (CrossDEV) uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels) on our website, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, we place non-essential cookies only after you consent.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and can be used to measure how the site is used. “Similar technologies” such as local storage and pixels work in comparable ways.

When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, or set preferences per category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time:

Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These load only if you accept analytics in the banner. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled.

Google Analytics is loaded only after consent and only once the measurement ID is configured in cookie-consent.js. Google acts as our processor; depending on configuration, data may be transferred to the US under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework / Standard Contractual Clauses.

Marketing (consent required)

Used to measure our advertising campaigns and reach relevant audiences. These load only if you accept marketing in the banner. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.

The Meta Pixel is loaded only after marketing consent. Meta acts as an independent/joint controller for the data it receives; transfers to the US rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework / Standard Contractual Clauses. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.

4. Third-party fonts

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com), which receives your IP address as a technical necessity to deliver the font files. If you prefer to avoid this, the fonts can be self-hosted.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Besides our banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect how the site works. See your browser’s help pages for instructions.
